Open Ports For Your Own Server! |
|
These are the ports you need to open:
TCP Ports: 14200,20045 UDP Ports: 1716,1717,1718,8777,27900 Okay you have the list of the ports. Now you must look to see what make and model your router is. Then you must go to the routers ip. Dont know what it is? Start -> My Network Places -> View Network Connections -> Then double click on your connection -> Support. Then you should have something like this: Default Gateway Then a ip address. That is your routers ip. So in your browser in the address bar you need to put this: http://yourroutersiphere Then you will need to log in. If you don't know your password you will need to contact the people who provided your router. Okay so you are logged in. Now you will need to go to: http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm Then look for your make e.g SMC and the model e.g 7804WBRB It will then provide you instructions from then on how to fully open them using your router as all routers are different. Hope this helps
